Ben Johnson wants "clarity" with the left tackle position, which saw former UDFA Theo Benedet enter the mix this week. Johnson maintains that the Bears will take as long as they need to find their starter, and doesn't rule out making a change in-season.
...and according to the media now, everything is great in Chicago because Caleb took the starting offense on a TD drive against not one Bills' starter on D. So nothing to see here anymore, the Bears are 100% good now. The game ended 38-0, lol...that tells you how into it Buffalo was. Which again, going back to my rant about the uselessness of preseason games, why even bother? You score zero points and allow 38, that's just trying not to get injured. What can be gleaned if you are Buffalo from that?

If the Vikings play their 2nd and 3rd stringers against the Bears starters, it’s gonna be a long Week 1.

MaroonBells wrote:PF hit on this a bit ago and I've said as much the last year or so: Football Twitter is something I don't recognize anymore, nor these engagement 'sports' websites that spout lies or incredibly misleading headlines for clickbait. Viking Twitter is the same way, ridiculously positive or just the gloomiest negativity. I know I'm not the target demo anymore as I've aged out of it some time ago, but this trend of the last few years of the extremes wears me out. I'm just looking for some sports news that might possibly be even keeled or negative/positive when its called for or real, not spiked for engagement only. I mean, how much are real fans and how much are just stupid bots? Next week is the first roster cutdowns, so that's moving us closer to the season starting.
Bears Twitter is having a ticker tape parade down Michigan Ave.
