"Something is happening in Minnesota. Those who know, know. Coordinator Brian Flores didn’t just develop a defense unlike any other. He concocted a living, breathing virus inflicting pain on coaches, quarterbacks and offensive linemen in ways that seem almost preternatural."
For his D to work, you need smart, vet players. And if you have a few that aren't that smart or rookies, they'll need more than a year in the philosophy to get it. I think Minnesota has the right mix on D now to maximize what BFlo wants to do play to play.
I think Flores is going to try one more time this upcoming offseason for a HC job and if not, he'll sign a big extension with Minnesota. IMO, I don't see another team giving him a HC shot: he's got a history (suing the league), he's a D-coordinator which isn't the trend for NFL HC hirings and I don't see his temperament lending itself well to HC, although he's learned from his last gig in Miami which Minnesota has benefitted from. And he also loves Minneapolis/St. Paul, said he and his family been treated amazing by the fans.
