Big year for Jalen Redmond?
Just 26 years old and I do think he's got more upside. Active, built low to the ground and quick for a guy his size. Big time athlete, ranked 4th in that department at the Combine the year he came out.

Based on the way he played last season, I was surprised we doubled down with Allen and Hargraves.
I think it helps the interior of the D-line be more fresh and consistently aggressive all game, which will help Harrison Phillips as well who rarely gets talked about in this board. Redmond is playing for his first big contract so I expect him to play hard and he'll learn from Allen and Hargrave.....which if they stay healthy, this whole interior is going to be really good. I love the depth. I read a rumor that Taimani got even stronger this offseason.
Have a really good feeling about this guy (Redmond). If the exterior of the D-line in the 3-4 can continue to be playmakers like they were in 2024, IMO the D is the most underrated part of the team. There's talent and depth there now unlike there has been for awhile.
I think JJ is going to do his part plus. The D is going to be whether the team turns a true corner or not.

Redmond didn't get much b playing time until week 10 ish?
When he played, he showed up.
I think he can become the next Tom Johnson.
Nice comparison. Remember Redmond played in the UFL as well too before a whole NFL season, so he should be fresher this year. I think Jonathan Allen is going to lend a tough guy vet leadership vibe to the whole group that is going to resonate.
