a few things on that play, the runner is likely safe if he slides, the runner may have been safe anyway, cant say for sure without the reverse angle to see exactly when the tag was applied, the catcher was blocking the plate ( at least that seems to be a call these days about not being able to impede the runner when you dont have the ball.) he was straddling the plate when he caught the ball.

That close. The ball arrived a split second before he touched, but did the glove have the ball and apply the tag before?
But dang, what a throw. I played outfield in softball many years ago. Could cover lots of ground but I didn't have the arm or the accuracy to throw them out at home. That throw was moving and bullseye accuracy.
