2025 NFL schedule opens with Cowboys at Eagles on Thursday, September 4.
lol, they just can't help themselves scheduling the Cowboys in primetime. Dallas moves the needle nationwide.

Trying not to put rumors in this thread as real reveals will be happening today and tomorrow before Wednesday night but we MIGHT have an opening primetime game with Detroit to kick off the season. At least I'm reading that....nothing like throwing JJ in the deep end right off the bat.

Why exactly are we building +$5B stadiums and playing more games outside the USA again?
Not sure what the costs of new stadiums has to do with anything. And 'global reach' is what you are talking about.....same with any corporation that wants to generate more profits: expose your product to more consumers. Its not like successful corporations ever decide that they have enough money and become content. Like it or not, that isn't going away.

Looks like we open at Detroit. Massive gut check right out of the gate if true. Tone setter for the season. JJ thrown directly into the fire the first time he steps out onto the field for the first time.
It’s going to be…
Legendary
Undefeated in the state of Michigan. He'll show them the belt afterwards....
The Lions Vikings game one I think is wrong, its GB and Detroit.
The more I see news trickle in this morning, the more Viking's games I'm seeing in prime time. Going to see a ton of Minnesota nationally. The NFL's betting on the come for this team and that's smart. Its going to be a good one.
Vikings to host the Lions on Christmas Day.....should be for the NFCN and home field again. Only at the Bank....
Vikings open the season in Chicago and the play on Sunday Night football at home against Atlanta. Call them the PrimeTime Vikings. The country is going to get to see JJ McCarthy a ton this season.

That's just a brutal schedule. No weeks off
Yep, but we knew that for a bit now. If Minnesota can get through this murderer's row and get into the playoffs, they should be ready at that point to be dangerous. Legitimately. Long season ahead, one game at a time. Need to hit on last year's, this year's and next year's Draft classes to keep up moving forward and lay the foundation for young players taking over key positions that don't need to spend big FA money on.
