Can't love this story enough.....

The thesis of the “22-page manifesto” that Kwesi Adofo-Mensah put together for the #Vikings offseason was this: “You want to have the type of roster that allows you to win any type of game.”
The Vikings followed that approach this offseason, building their roster from the middle out. Their draft strategy continued it:
Analysis: Vikings’ small draft class fits neatly into Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s big plan
The heft so obviously lacking as the past few seasons played down is in place now, giving the Vikings the equipment to win, as the GM put it, “any type of game.”

I think the goals were good goals, and it looks like the team is being built the right way...especially for the long haul.
JJM has a lot to live up to, primarily because his peer on the Commanders got within a game of the Super Bowl. It's hardly a fair situation, but anything less than a real playoff run will disappoint.
Truth. And there's no doubt pressure on McCarthy to perform on what looks to be a very good and talented team. We'll see what the young man's got!

SO much attention (rightly so) has been on the IOL redux. Getting a pass rush up the middle on D is right up there too. We need those 2 DT vets we signed to have a good couple years for us while we fill the pipeline in the future.
We need all the FA acquisitions to hit. Like Justin said, guys like Fries, Hargrove and Moore are still working through injuries...will be good to go by training camp but that low level is a concern for me as well.
