Around the North
• Packers draft a WR in the 1st round for the first time in 23 years, and got a good one in Matthew Golden. I didn't really watch 1st round receivers at all so I don't know just how good.
• Really liked Tyleik Williams, whom the Lions drafted at 28. They're probably getting some "reach" accusations, since his consensus was 44. But I felt he was a 1st round talent.
• To me, the best news is the Bears did not get Ashton Jeanty. Colston Loveland is a good TE, but he's still a TE. Is he Brock Bowers, Kyle Pitts or OJ Howard? Last TE taken at 10th overall was Eric Ebron. Yuck.

I didn't dig into the first round WRs much. I did see a fair amount of Egbuka and really liked him.
From what I saw of Golden, he has speed but I didn't see 4.29 on the field. Also didn't see him beating a lot of press coverage in college and he's not the biggest guy. Think he'll be good, just not sure he's a #1 WR.
Thought the Bears wasted an opportunity to take an OL guy or an impact defender. Loveland is good, but first round TEs are rarely impact players. I don't see how this helps them out since they have a good TE in Kmet already and he wasn't a big part of the offense.
Obviously, that could change with Ben Johnson running the offense this year but it doesn't seem like a needle moving pick at 10th overall.
