No truth to the rumors that Mel is the new mascot to Moorhead State.

I can see the Drew Brees comp. Smaller. Subpar arm. Definitely needs to be in a dome with a play caller who can maximize his ability to throw with timing. I still wouldn’t touch him with a ten foot pole.

I heard someone say that if last year's 7th QB, Spencer Rattler, were in this draft he'd be a 1st rounder. I think that tells you all you need to know about this class.

This is the time each year I remember how all over the place the Draft 'experts' are. I don't love Cam Ward, but he's going to go #1. Sanders I'm sure is going to be higher on some boards than others. He's got better intangibles than physical traits. I don't think his demeanor plays into any of the scouting on him, its a non issue. He's very competitive which is a plus.

Let's face it, Mel Kiper knows very little about draft prospects in terms of their future potential.  He's far from a scout.  What he did do is beat everyone else to the punch in doing a ton of information compilation on the draft which was a great service to all of us.  I appreciate Mel and give him a draft lifetime achievement award.  I do not put any credibility in his ability to identify talent any better than the average Joe.

IMO, if Sanders was not Deion Sanders son he would never be a first day pick.

I can't believe...no, actually I do believe it, I just think it's asinine...that they're retiring Sanders' number despite no bowl game wins, terrible conference record early on, and...

...oh, wait, he's about 50% hype; his Dad's shadow props his "legend" much more than his accomplishments.

KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

The thing I'm curious about now is what does Cleveland do? They can pick Sanders with the first pick today. They also likely have 2 picks in the top 10 next year.

Like if I were them, I'm probably picking Sanders and then another QB next year. I think the people who hate having options at QB would be struggling to choose between a lesser QB this year for sure, or punting on him and having the potential of not getting a guy next year.

I remember back a month or two when stories were circulating about Deion orchestrating his kid's landing spot ala Eli Manning or John Elway. They claimed a team wouldn't dare take him without daddy's blessing.

Fast forward to now and daddy will bless your team if you just take him tonight. 'Please someone take him soon, please..' daddy is quietly praying.

Eye in the sky dont lie and his personal interviews didnt seem too productive.

I thought Tomlinson might nibble at 21, the Harmon pick surprised me there. They still might try and get him today, Saints too.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

So I agree with Joel Katt who said the only thing he hates about the Draft are the narratives. And I agree. The media hyperbolic outrage over Sanders going undrafted so far is laughable. What a group of pandering idiots. His camp should have known he wasn't going to go in round 1.....the guy had a 'Legendary' draft room made in his house was it? Makes it harder to like this kid when you see shit like that. He's not a NFL QB, no matter how hard the dimwit sports media is trying to jam it down our throats. NFL GMs have spoken....if he had real ability, trust me, some team would have made him a 1st round pick. They wouldn't care as much about his entitlement personality.

Have to see this.

You want your QB confident (and maybe a little cocky).  That projects major insecurity to me. Reminds me of this guy...

Wow that is crazy!  That does not have the look of someone who is going to be focused on the team above himself.  I could see a lot of teams having him off their boards.
