OT- Nuggets fire Malone
Just a complete joke and just further confirmation as to why the NBA is becoming unwatchable. Mike Malone, who led a moribund Denver franchise to their first NBA Championship a mere two seasons ago and had them in the 4th position this season, was fired by the organization today. Lol. Yeah the money's great, but not sure why anybody would want to become a head coach. Talk about thankless. It's the equivalent of KOC finally winning the Super Bowl in Minnesota and two seasons later we fire him on his way to another winning season.
What is this "NBA" you speak of?
He called out players for playing like shit, I guess that's not allowed. Malone is out and so is the GM Booth apparently they don't get along. The Grizzlies fired their coach a week or so ago. Absolutely bizarre

So the Nuggets are Post Malone.

Jokic should do the right thing and force his way onto the Lakers this offseason, imho.
What a strange situation in Denver.

If KOC just gets to the Superbowl he will be a hero and I will guarantee that he won't get fired in my lifetime!
The nba is to basketball as the WWF or WWE, or.... is to wrestling, the more money and popularity that gets into a sport the more unwatchable it becomes. I fear the NFL will do the same, fuck around with the game and it will become a shadow of what it once was and drive fans away.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

You mean like continuing to add games to the schedule where the season boils down to team attrition more than it already does, or playing regular season game in Abu Dabi, Brazil, or the Congo? The NFL would never make decisions not in the best interest of the game. Unheard of..

I'm fine with more games. I'm fine with promoting the sport in foreign countries, but WTF are they playing on Thursday or god forbid Tuesday for?
That said, I'd also be fine with an 18 game season, but eliminate the first round of the playoffs, and eliminate the week off before the SB. 5 weeks of postseason is way too much if your team didn't make it into the playoffs.

Agreed. Thursday night football sucks and should strictly be a Thanksgiving thing
