Never actually saw Tombstone, but I could probably put together the entire movie from the various clips I've seen. A lot of famous faces in that one. Powers Boothe will always be the Rev. Jim Jones to me.

If you haven't watched these 2, do yourself a favor and do it: Real Genius and Tombstone. He's amazing in both. Julliard trained actor means he can dance and sing as well. A very young Val knocked it out of the park in Real Genius. And there could be no other Doc Holliday than Kilmer.

I am amazed that anybody else even remembered Real Genius,  let alone the charming arrogance of Chris Knight.

Kilmer has always been one of my favorites,  his talent was undeniable.

Real Genius and Top Secret were both hilarious, and largely due to Val Kilmer.

Willow, Tombstone, Heat, Top Gun(s), and I actually liked him as Batman (Clooney was the tragedy, IMO)...so many more.

Much like his former co-star Tommy Lee Jones, he improved a movie the moment he signed the contract.

KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

Bro...  You NEED to see this movie.  I'm not a huge western guy, but it is top notch.

Maybe the boy and I will sit down and watch it this weekend.  Probably came out in the 90s. I missed the 90s. Never saw Pulp Fiction until a couple years ago. Never saw the Matrix. Still haven't. I've never even seen a single episode of Seinfeld. But I was single and having the time of my life. :D

One of the most truly bizarre things I remember was coming home from snowboarding one Saturday and seeing that the draft was on. I didn't know the NFL DRAFT was on! It was the Dwayne Rudd year. I still can't believe that one. Never happened before or since.

Real Genius is SO underrated. One of my favorite comedies. So clever & witty.
Most all of his films, but especially Tombstone, Heat & The Doors - just an amazing job of acting.

RIP Val

Oh man, you once told me that you envied me for having never seen any of the LOTR movies because you'd love to experience it for the first time again. That tempted me, but I still haven't watched them. Anyway, that's the way I feel about Breaking Bad. It's the only series I've ever seen that actually starts good and remains good for 8 seasons.

The same holds true for LOTR today...Bunker up with the kids and watch it.

The most perfect ending ever, I dont know how Jackson nailed it to the degree he did. Pretty good b4 the end too.

RIP Val Kilmer. This one is very sad to me. A phenomenal actor and artist. Omg the documentary Val was absolutely beautiful. It is narrated by his son Jack

Stop what you’re doing and start binge watching Breaking Bad. I’ll have to seriously question your life choices if you don’t. Next thing you’ll say is you haven’t watched The Wire.

They referenced that in the documentary,   that would have been awesome to see live.
