I hope these people are charged with life in front of a firing squad.  People are truly out of their minds.

I'm not surprised sadly, rioting never solved anything

Musk is a turd

Things coulld get worse...As more people lose their jobs, if key economic indicators and peoples 401k's tank

I'm all for increasing govt efficiency - but the flip side is that this Admin has done a really poor job of communicating the why and what of their actions to the people.

This includes tariffs too, dont assume most people understand the why and the potential benefit. As Potus, it's his responsibility to communicate to all the country now, not just a political base.

I am not aware that they have yet released an official # of fed employees terminated to-date through RIF and thats intentional. Might we ever see it?

Only thing I can find is the # is north of 30k so far - directional at best.

How in the world is Musk a "turd"?  He's arguably the most brilliant man on the planet.  He cares enough about people to do a job everyone else has avoided for years and for free.  He rescued people stranded in space and he bought a company at a loss to protect free speech.  I just don't get how any informed person could see him as a "turd", and I respect your opinion.

The administration has a lot on its plate and the need to communicate their vision over time, not on a deadline.  The fact that the left loses their mind over shit they understand is the real issue here.  Think of the idiocy of burning other people's Tesla's.  A majority of the owners are on their side in the climate change arena.  I may have to buy an electric car even though I think they're currently a "niche" item.

They can't get rid of enough federal bureaucrats in my opinion, and once again the communication strategy is a war, not a battle to try to win over night.  Trump nor Musk can fight the absolute idiocy on display right now, nor should they try. The American Public sees this and like everything else the Democrats will prove themselves why they are categorically wrong in their views and actions.

We're in agreement he's dang smart and I am grateful for SpaceX in particular

We're thinking full BEV for one of our next vehicles as well. I dont like Teslas myself (for non-political reasons).

I have a European BEV loaner now and love it. Its going to be tough to turn it back in for my old ICE lol!

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

The EVs don't hold their value all that well..mainly due to battery life / replacement costs and charger amortization.  The Pro tip is that you can buy a slightly used EV for a significantly reduced cost.  My SOL just bought a Volvo EV (EX90) SUV off of lease on the used market.  He loves it but he only uses it for in-town use as their second vehicle.

Yah, the depreciation is higher and the technology is still evolving quickly, even w/out the $7500 credits.

It would be for our around town vehicle as well...They are perfect for that and I like driving a vehicle that doesnt spew emissions. Yes, I know the rare earth, battery disposal issues etc...

No doubt they are not as pure as some make them out to be.

Not to take this too far out of WB's OP, the idiots need to find more constructive ways to vent their concerns to say the least.

I personally think DOGE is moving too quickly and they are too reliant on cuts as the action. They cant possibly forecast the impact of their decisions. I think we gotta put our seatbelts on and see how each of these actions ripple out into the economy the next 3 years.

I think part of the fast move is the mid-term timing, its not that far off.

Time keeps on ticking into the future as Steve Miller used to muse.

fuck it... rip the bandaid off.  I would feel worse for those losing their jobs if the government had been more concerned about spending my tax dollars wisely, and reporting the frauds they saw.  I just havent seen near the problems from what has been shuttered as those in the media have tried to make it out to be.  I honesly do feel sorry for the workers families, but the gluttony has to end.

Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

1. Every time one of these clowns wreaks a part on a Tesla it puts money directly in Elons pocket. He is the only supplier of parts.

2. This is Fking awesome. What a goober.

It’s ok to line people you don’t like up in front of a firing squad?  Let’s round up some CEO’s with em.

If the firing squad is OK for destruction of ugly EVs...then, by extension, the Jan 6th clowns should reintroduce drawing and quartering, right?

Just a thought!  :D

Before anyone goes there, attacking cars because you don't like the company's founder is dumbass trash behavior, but I'd still rank it FAR below, say, ruining/shortening thousands of people's lives by denying them medical care/coverage that they've paid for...as a profit tool. Just sayin'.

KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

Agree with this 100%. Shine a flashlight on it.

I’ve always been a proponent for shooting J6’s. They should have shot the first 2-3 over the police line and that would have been the end of it.

Shooting FBI plants could have got them in a lot of trouble.

I'm betting that the ratio of orange-stained drones to fed plants would have been better than 100 to 1.

Plus...the drones are part of the problem, were actively demonstrating that fact. Literally."

But, at least we can watch Elon tank his own company by proudly being the 5 star tool he is. That is a rare silver lining in these troubled times.

Sure. If there were plants there and they were first over the line then yes. Shoot them.
