Looks like a Viking.

He’s been in the trainers room more than the field the last three years.

Team friendly deal, sure.

Not more then say $7.5/yr? I think Addison is going to miss time so having Kupp would be a benefit. We'd have to have him on a pitch count though.

Yay, but it should be a reasonable 1-yr deal with lots of incentives if he hits certain milestones (games played, over 1K yds, over 8 TDs, etc). He's been too banged up the last couple years.

I could see him wanting to rejoin KOC. Good culture, knows the playbook, won't be the main focus from the defense.

My stance. Outside of RB we are good at WR and TE. I would consider moving Addison for the right player or right compensation. Then picking up a Theilen or Kupp type. Also promotioning Nailer, Thomas or Jackson. So getting Kupp with Jet, Addison and company NO. If replacing him with compensation for Addison then yes

Yay. We have the money. He and KOC are very familiar with each other. But he'd have to come in at WR3 and he might still be able to land a WR2 job somewhere. But yeah, if he's willing to come here and play on a 1 or 2 year deal, I don't see the downside.

I'm on the fence about it...

Potential chemistry buster, not because of his personality but because of Addisons - and there are only so many touches to go around.

That might loosen up the coverage a bit....

My guess is some low level franchise will throw a bag of money at him and Kupp will go that route, like Thielen in Carolina.

Good guess too.  He’s got his ring might as well go for the bag.  Hopefully he has a crush on KOC and wants to win one more

$11 million? Nope. $7.5 million, maybe.
I think the kid from Eastern Washington University (Big Sky college conference), who did play in Missoula, Montana against the Griz, is not a drama queen. Oft injured, that's an issue, but he takes a lot of hits.

He's supposed to have maybe 5 teams who sound like a good fit...Vikings are not one of them (at this time...that hasn't stopped Kwesi before). What Kupp has going for him (besides excellent hands) is his rapport and experience with KOC.

Unlike the NFL sports media machine, he's not in a rush. If he wants to keep playing in the NFL, it will be on his terms. He has earned that right. His agent is certainly burning up the phones with all 32 teams.

I do think two things:
1) he would be solid insurance if/when Addison has to sit / suspended.
3) he is a better WR# option than Nailor (aka "Speedy")

It frankly could make our WR fleet scarier than Moss, Carter, Reed...back in the day. Nailor would be a very good WR4/special teams option/insurance policy if/when one of them goes down.

He isn't needed. The Vikings could spend the money elsewhere.
