Good pick up

Looking at it, he had at least 5 teams interested so nice work by Kwesi.

Ascending player. My mental health is glad we got this news before the DJ Reed to the Lions news.

Small corner, hasn't played a bunch as a rotational player after being suspended for gambling. Probably not someone you want starting regularly. Sure hope Blackmon is ready to go this year.

170 pound corner coming off a gambling suspension, meanwhile Lions ink Reed

DJ Reed is even smaller, I wouldn't worry too much about height. I just don't know what kind of impact he'll have.

He is an inch shorter but 20 pounds heavier

Don’t confuse them with data.

Don’t confuse them with data.

...or misleading data. Murphy ranked 6th overall in snaps played last year. Rodgers 113th.

Even better if you extrapolate. Rodgers was behind Slay, DeJean and Mitchell.

Smaller sample size = misleading?

Ok.

Prototypical Kwesi signing. Younger player in his physical prime, underused with upside signed to a shorter “prove it” deal.

Extend if it works out.

Its a meh signing. We'll put some lipstick on it, but it is what it is.

Considering our backfield is currently mostly a vacant lot, quality depth is a good start!

Exactly, he's not gonna be our #1 CB.  Depth signing at a very reasonable price considering the money getting thrown at CBs today.

I love this signing. Cheap and ascending. You paid depth money for him, which is what he'll be, meaning your 2nd or 3rd corner, not your headliner. Wouldn't be surprised to see Murphy back at this point.
