There is almost zero chance rogers is in play in MN. He isnt a mentor type, his game is gone, he brings almost no upside and a train full of caution flags.... somebody find garafolo and slap him in the back of the head for me, really hard!

I have to think Cousins cap hit after that ridiculous contract would make this an impossibility.

This projected sentence -- "The Vikings moved on to Aaron Rodgers after missing out on Daniel Jones" -- seems preposterous enough to disqualify it as a real possibility. But the world is a preposterous place...

The media just cannot accept that the Vikings are going to start JJ. Why is it so hard to believe for them?? Or is it just entertaining for them to keep watching Vikings fans heads explode whenever they dish up a new poo plate???

I haven't looked into it but I've heard some say that it wouldn't cost the Vikings much at all, since Atlanta would be on the hook for most of it. Is it like the Steelers with Wilson? Where the Broncos paid $38M and the Steelers paid $1M?

I just have a hunch Kirko is going to stay in ATL for at least a little bit longer...I think they still have to see what they have in Penix.

My other hunch is that Jones and Darnold are both gone, that QB room will add a vet name that isnt on our radar yet.

Cousins wants to get traded or released so he can be a starter somewhere.  I don't see him coming back here or the Vikings wanting him back as a starter when they just drafted their franchise QB.

If Kirko, flush with Atlanta money and humbled by his own physical failures from last season, wanted to back JJM on a cheap deal, that'd be almost perfect. Jones might be a better option, but he might hear the call of dozens of millions of extra dollars in the wind.

There's a lot of "ifs" there, but I'd take Kirko over A-a-ron any day. I don't need to worry if our backup QB is seeing trails from his LSD therapy.

I'm so sick and tired of the Rodgers to Minnesota bs. I have seen some Cousins to Minnesota nonsense as well. Neither are happening

Let me get this right; Some people would want Cousins back? Why? How many chances does this guy get?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, " Anyone can do a better job" I was right last season and there's no argument.
Same oline and Darnold played 10 times better.

I wouldn't take Cousins back even if he offered to play for free.
