Don't you have a thousand page thread on the vaccine already? I think most realize the realities of Covid and the vaccine these days. Covid really was a problem for the elderly and those with comorbidities and not for most of the other people. Early work on therapeutics including those already on the market would have saved lives. The virus likely came from a lab. The vaccine was rushed and didn't go through full protocols. There are side effects associated with the vaccine. The vaccine was never a "vaccine". It was a glorified flu shot. Oh yea...and masks made people feel good but didn't do anything. I probably missed some.

It was massively mishandled and a complete series of s**t behaviors by the legislators, followed by a ton of anti-science by bobbleheads. Panic made the whole country less intelligent, and our kids likely suffered the worst brunt of it.

The jabs did some good...sometimes a lot of good...with the people needing that type of help. Others had awful reactions (myself included, actually), but...it's 2025, now, and there's already an encyclopedia-level thread elsewhere on the topic.

Yes there were many at the time that defended fauci,  because it was the narrative pushed by their party of choice so they followed suit.

The first point here is that this article is a huge admission that are groundbreaking from a person that was nearly at the top of the whole Covid effort.  When we're admitting that therapeutics other than the vaccine work and that the vaccines were never intended to prevent transmission from one individual to another, that's a big fucking deal.  Our govt in a joint effort with the media and big pharma was willing forcing these vaccines on millions of Americans via threat of losing their jobs.  They were willfully letting people suffer worse consequences by banning doctors from treating their patients with knowingly effective drugs like Ivermectin that continues to this day.  Knowing that the Vaccine thread had run its course, I felt a new post on such a huge step forward was deserving.

The second reason this deserves its own thread is that we now can move to a fair discussion on what constitutes credible media sources.  The Gateway Pundit is one of the few sites that you can find anything about the vaccine and was really the only one that reported on something that is so historically significant.  We don't want to go down this road next time, so it's important to learn from history.  I scanned the sites all of the mainstream media sites and came up empty finding anything about this admission.  This only confirms that the MSM is complicit in continuing to hide this story and to stick to their dialogue.  This admission by Birx puts an official stamp on who won the tinfoil hat versus dunce cap war concerning the vaccine.  You still have people claiming that the vaccine saved all of these lives.  I'll let them believe that.  I believe it was more due to a return to common sense and a severe weakening of the virus.  The point is the crowd that routinely tries to dismiss reporting of "Faux" News, The Gateway Pundit, and Zero Hedge have been proven wrong AGAIN.

I genuinely have seen no one defend Fauci on the part of VF. I'll certainly admit that the extemism/BS on both sides was and is damaging and utterly stupid, but...who's the thread for? Serious question.

That "admission" isn't all that dramatic, and hindsight of that type is typically a bit of "Cover Your Ass" maintenance.

The admission "isn't all that dramatic".  So at the very least thousands of people had ill side effects and deaths from a vaccine that's not a vaccine that wasn't necessary because every day "cheap" therapeutics were effective and available.  The govt forced workers within the govt and larger companies to require the vaccine for people which it had no benefit.   It knowingly didn't stop transmission to others yet was labeled as doing so by Big Pharma, NIH, the president, and all MSM.  Social platforms were instructed to lie to us.  But, no big deal.  lol

There were plenty of people prior to me even posting the thread that defended Fauci all the way til it was obvious he was a pathological liar.  They called names and professed outrage at those not getting vaxxed because we only cared about ourselves.  Shame on the sheeple and they all know who they are.

yes,  there were quite a few that couldnt accept that initially Trump would go against the guidance of such a respected leader in his field,  and then once Trump was out and it was apparently clear there were still several that were bought in due to party affiliation and since Trump denounced him that he must be an OK guy.

nobody lately, but then again... not much in here anymore to measure it against.

The answer to both those quotes isn’t your tinfoil hat BS. It’s “no shit”  There were more deaths then anyone wishes there were and the vaccine was rolled out to higher risk individuals first. To sign up for the vaccine you had to register. Elderly and at risk individuals DID get the vaccine first.

Some people you grow to genuinely dislike for who they are as human beings, AGR is one of those.  He likes to mock the death of my friend's brother.  I don't really feel the need to play with kid gloves with him.  He's a despicable human being who probably got taunted too much as a kid due to his own difficulties.  I guess that' what you'd call karma....

I dont see that in this thread, if he crossed a line of decency in another thread,  report it,  but dont drag shit from one thread to another,  its impossible to police.
