That surprised me. I thought Terrell Suggs would be a shoo in. What about the other WRs? Torry Holt? Reggie Wayne? Steve Smith?

Adam Vinatieri is the surprise snub for me. Even though he is a 1st ballot candidate, he holds about every career record for kickers. There are 4 kickers already in the HOF.

They just see 1st ballot different. 1st ballot is special in the fraternity. If you look back, they really believe that. The TO and Moss class showed that all too well. I do not like TO at all, but you can't deny he is top 3 or top 5 in the history of the game. He deserved to be a 1st ballot. They chose to wait till Moss had his eligibility and Moss was the 1st ballot guy. I know why they did that, but it just goes to show that they view it far different.

I have one official Vikings jersey that I wear to the local Sports bar when the Vikings are not televised in my market area.
It's #69 and says ALLEN across the back.

All I can say is that he was deserving.

Great player and always fun to watch. Happy for him.

But... now that Joe Buck is in the Hall of Fame, the whole thing feels a bit sillier to me than it did before.
