Anyone else get a gut-punch every time you're reminded about this guy or see him on the sidelines, or is it just me?

He's been in the league for a long time, seemingly has played like 3 snaps in a decade, and yet he still pops up every once in awhile, haunting me about what could have been. I'd forgotten he was on the Lions. Seeing him having the time of his life on the broadcast kind of irritated me I can't lie. And there's zero reason it should I was just mad at the world at that point I think!

Are any of you still rooting for him? Rooting against him? Or just like me in this strange twilight zone with him.

Anyways go Vikings lol.

Teddy is a good guy.  I hoped he would develop into elite talent for us but he never got there.  Players come and go.  Wish him the best.

Huge Teddy fan, one of my favorite all time players, not the most physically gifted, but think he had a way of making everyone better around him, we won the division with him his first year starting playing all our home games outside in the college stadium. Will always root for him, unless of course it is against us.

He coached a high school team this year and is attempting to a comeback next year.  I don’t think about what Teddy could have become because I think he had pretty much maxed out already.  He had limitations due to his arm strength.
