Will The Game Get Moved ?
NFL is monitoring the fires and air quality in LA. I would not mind seeing the game get moved. Rams probably don't have a huge home field advantage in LA , but they would also have to travel if the game is moved.
It's not just air quality, it's safety too. It might help a lot to have less people and less traffic. Kudos to all the firefighters and other first responders that are doing the work on the ground
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it. — Robin Williams
I am in LA, at this point, I do not see how they could play a game here this week. I would think it would be in the best interest of the Rams to get out of town as soon as possible as the air quality is so bad I can't imagine they are able to practice long outside. I think AZ would make the most sense, Vikes typically take over the stadium for Cardinals games, so I could see a large Viking contingent there if it were moved.

Yeah, if I had to guess, my money is on that they move it to Arizona.
And this isn't surprising and it'll only get worse now......nothing more evil than insurance companies:

State Farm canceled hundreds of policies in Pacific Palisades last summer, where wildfires are ravaging the region, to avoid “financial failure.”
True. Insurance is a scam for profit. They saw what happened in Malibu in the past few years and knew it was next door. Climate change is real.
The # of hail storms here in MN the last few years have caused rates to increase by double digit %'s. We work through an insurance broker so he sees whats happening across providers. He's seen nothing like it in his 20+ year career.
FL (hurricanes) and MN have seen the highest rates of increase the last few years. I suspect Cali will join that list.

Stay safe JR...
my kid is in Silverlake and that Sunset Fire is way too close for dads comfort level. Its a tragedy.
This is so much more than privileged actors losing their multi-million dollar ocean front homes.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
Admittedly I am naive on the subject of Insurance is a scam. From what I read (take it for what its worth) Insurance companies pointed out the potential problems with fire dangers in this area. They wanted to raise prices to cover the risks. The Governor denied their ability to do so. So they cancelled policies and moved on. Saw a clip on Joe Rogan pod cast where someone was describing a few years back it was a question of not if but when this would happen. A solution was presented but due to environmental policies no action was taken. Again I am no expert so I am open to listen and learn.
What's happening is very scary. I'm sure the game will get moved but you wonder how many Rams players/staffers/interns/whoever are being affected by this either directly or with their families. Extremely sad.
On the football side:
Pros- Road Game moves to neutral site.
Cons- Anyone remember '09? Refs in that Saints game sure seemed to want the post-Katrina New Orleans fans to go home happy, didn't they?
This ^^^^
A Rams "win" would represent the same "moral victory" as post-Katrina.
That...AND....The NFL doesn't want to see Lions / Vikings part III, after last weeks shart
