Danny Dimes for the comp pick. We'll see if he hangs around Eagan for longer.

Thats the 1/2 million $ question for sure...

I have no idea what his intentions were other than to soak-up some qb whisperer waters.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Jones and KOC stayed close and in touch since the draft process. If I had to guess, I think the plan is tag and trade and bring in Jones to compete on a one year deal. Just my thought. Same thing they did with Darnold. Jones would benefit from staying here and going this route.

Be interesting if Mullens stays at # 2
This will probably be Mullens last season with the Vikings.

I mean that's exactly what he's doing.  Go to a place for a year that isn't a dumpster fire, learn how to be a QB, resurrect your career.  Last thing you want to do is go to the Raiders and compete against whichever shitty rookie they end up drafting, and get stuck on the backup QB treadmill.

I'd keep both of them if the price for both is low enough.  He'd probably want to be the unquestioned backup though?

You know how KOC likes his trick plays. How much would that screw the other team up if Jones come trotting out on 3rd down.
If he gets designated to # 2 ?

It's Kwesi's move for the comp pick. Darnold is a much better QB than Jones. If Kwesi has his way, Darnold will be here next year, but Jones won't. He's here for the comp pick.

Probably not getting a comp cuz, we have lots of money to spend on Free Agents.
The money spent on them will cancel out the money other teams spend on ours.

How about a gadget play with both Darnold and Jones lined up in the backfield?

This is how I see it too.
