Safety that wasn't
Had the sound down and didn't hear the explanation on that should have been safety our D got early.
Goff was in the grasp, dumped the ball to avoid the sack and hit his lineman. I know the RB was "in the area" but that looked like it should have been a safety for sure.
Yes, it was a safety. Just one of a dozen or more things in this game that didn't go our way.
That was a horrible call. Goff was being tackled to the group and just chucked it as his own feet. There was a TE and RB blocking our rushers, but it wasn't an attempt to throw it to them.
Big momentum change if we get the 2 pts to make it 7-2 and get possession off a punt instead of a kickoff.
