Breaking: Pats Fire Mayo...
Black Monday starts early this year...
The #Patriots are moving on from coach Jerod Mayo, as the handpicked successor to Bill Belichick goes one-and-done, per me, @MikeGarafolo and @TomPelissero.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
I'm sure Kraft can afford to just relax and get a message to work all the stress he has had to endure out of his body!
You fire the head coach if you feel he didn't maximize the potential of his roster. But in reality, the roster wasn't great. For that you fire the GM and the coaching staff.
Kraft's intentions are in the right place. Brady and Bellicek are gone. I think he is in for a long spell of humility!
But it doesn't matter. He got his!
Mayo was not a good coach, better to fire a dude like this quickly. It wouldn't have gotten any better.

Word is Kraft wants Vrabel...

I don't know how good or bad of a coach Mayo is. But I do know, coming into the season, the Patriots had the 32nd ranked OL, the 32nd ranked WR group, and no real threat at RB or TE. Looks like they got themselves a QB though...if he can stay healthy.
