Rumors were that Richardson didn't study hard.....wasn't fully committed at times. Then Pat McAfee blows up the Internet a few days ago by LAYING into the Colt's ownership, organization, players and coaches. Sounds like its a shit culture in Indianapolis. Looks like some vets tried to light a fire under AR:

Richardson seems like a good kid, speaks well, obviously a physical talent.  But he was very inexperienced coming out of college.  Only started like 14 games.

Some dudes need a veteran to take them under their wing and teach them how to study, how to train, how to eat to maximize your performance, etc.  All I'm saying is it can be a big adjustment going from college to the NFL and it sure sounds like Richardson didn't have the right structure around him to get him off on the right trajectory.

He probably would have been better off going outside the top 5 picks so he could have learned behind the scenes on how to be a pro before being thrust into action.

I don't disagree at all. Some of these young kids think they are working hard, but have no clue what it actually means to do so. Or they think their amazing physical gifts will carry them like it has their whole life until this point.

Town Drunk Jim Irsay in need of another reboot, is the headline I expect to see.

Unfortunately, Town Junkie is more apt for Irsay. He's a wreck. Killed a ton of brain cells.
