Packers are coming in En Fuego...
Vegas line is paper thin...
Two good coaches, two good teams
National game, LOTS on the line for the Vikings...
Doesn't get much bigger than this until the last week of the season - if we win wk 16.
I have no idea how to bet this one - and I wont.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

I'm not much of a bettor, but I doubt I would ever bet on an NFC North game, especially a rivalry as heated as the border battle. This will be a prize fight. Packers are much better than they were when we played them back in September. Vikings are supposed to get Ivan Pace Jr. and Harrison Smith back for this one. Jalen Redmond's in concussion protocol, but those rarely go beyond one week. We'll need them all.
I am honestly expecting things to go south on this one. the homefield advantage is often marginal when the puke come to town and I dont think we have been playing as well defensively as we did earlier in the season. I think some aspects of Flos scheme get exploited and leflower will likely have a plan in place. offensively I am not happy with the protection the IOL has been providing and I dont think we can run the ball between the tackles well enough to really dictate to the puke defense how we are going to play. ( i know, stuck record ) I see this going 1 of 2 way, we get fucking embarrassed at home, or we squeak one out at the end with a fair bit of help. I certainly dont see us as in the same class currenlty as the Packers or Rams, even the Lions and Eagles should still likely be favored over us. I dont watch as much of those teams, but they certainly seem to have more figured out at this point than the Vikings... maybe its a lack of a dominant win on the season?

I'm too lazy to look it up, maybe its the recency of shutting out a bad Saints team? But it does seem like the Packers win over their comp at a larger margin vs our squeaker games...This is a game where I wish our running game was more stout and we could get up in Love's face w/out having to blitz much.
KOC excels at winning the 1 pointers, but you live by the big play? You die from the big play...

The Packers weakness is their defense, but it has improved the past couple of weeks. LaFluer has been has been very good at his game planning and play calling as well. This will be the game that lets us see how good the Vikings are.
Defense needs to stop the run and pick up their game a notch. Vikings need to win the turnover battle.
Critical game. The schedule makers did well with all these divisional games late in the season.
The packers were going against a jv college team out there that already has its bags packed for vacation.
They have been playing well, but there is no sense in crowning their ass after that game.
Packers beat on the Seahawks cuz Geno missed over half the game and Sam Howell was clearly not prepared to come in.
The Saints are missing their entire starting offense (Carr, Olave, Shaheed, Taysom, Kamara, their C, etc).
I wasn't that impressed with the Packers wins the last two weeks. Their passing game looked inconsistent last night, it was their running game that carried the night.
I think it's going to be a dog fight because division games usually are... but we shouldn't be scared of the Packers. Love will make some plays but he'll pit some balls out there for the defense. Just gotta win the turnover battle and protect Darnold.
I expect the refs to help the Vikings and Lions next weekend, setting up the season ending 14-2 versus 14-2 division showdown Sunday Night Football ratings bonanza.
Don't think of it as game fixing, think of it as greasing the wheels of commerce.
The Packers clinched a playoff spot and they cannot win the division, at this point they are only playing for wildcard position, so the game does not have the level of meaning that it has for us. I doubt they will play Watson and possibly others who may banged up. Not saying they are not going to come out to win this game, but they just do not have as much on the line.
The Vikings have more to play for, and will have Pace/Harry back. If Hock can shake the dropsies, we'll be a much more dangerous team than when we beat GB earlier.
KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....
Absolutely will be huge. Hopefully not too many ticket holders will sell thier tickets to Packer fans.
Really need to take advantage of home field advantage and the stadium to be insanely loud.

100%.
Dude hangs in the pocket like few I have seen b4 in a Viking uniform and he can move when he has to.
Ice in the veins...
I can only compare him to another "stone cold killer" I know.... :)

Agree. From a ratings perspective I think we get a little home cooking so that week 18 is the biggest game of the season. Maybe the decade.

LMAO, yep. I think some of the Viking's fans that live so close to Wisconsin get some Packer's PTSD. Not sure what can be more on fire than 13-2. The last time the Vikings lost a game was over 2 MONTHS AGO.
Pretty sure it has to do with falling footwear.

I dont think I'd feel good about my team if I were a Houston or Pitt fan right now...I want to go into post-season on a high streak!

I think as much as its that, its also that the perception of the shiny thing over there is shinier than the shiny thing we have at home. It is what it is. The next loss, whenever that is and it could be Sunday, will cast a gloomier picture for some than it probably should.
I want to win the next two...Not only is #1 seed in-site, but its under our own control.
Stakes this weekend are high!!
Yah, its a tall order, but seasons like this dont happen often...Gotta enjoy em while you're in the thick of it.

Lions play on Monday versus a bad (this year) Niners team. We play Sunday, I will guess the NFL will do what they can to have Vikings vs Lions to be all the marbles for the 1 seed.
We're good and they're good. Huge game, I hope the guys ball out.
I know this is a job for the players, especially the younger guys that dont have the history in the rivalry, but if there is a guy in a purple jersey on sunday that is having trouble getting jacked for this one.... the cut his ass now. I dont recall a bigger rivalry matchup for the Vikes in the last decade, and even longer if you take out the playoff games against the puke. even if we get beat the following week in detoilet, I dont want our season success sullied by the fricking packers.
