I agree, if his agent did his job, there's language in it that won't allow it. And I don't think Minnesota is going to tag him anyhow, but never say never. I'll say this: over the course of the next 3 weeks, fans will either insist he (Darnold) stays or will be ok with letting him walk. The consensus will move in either direction.

I can see both sides, honestly. Baldinger is paid for hot takes, so who knows if he even believes it. Warner is a much more calm opinion person, usually based in common sense and doesn't have the bug to be provocative.
