Thank you Packers for deciding to let him go.

Maybe we need to start mentioning A.Jones in the same breadth as Cashman, Van Ginkel and Greenard.

I might have a case of recency bias, but can you recall a better free agent class than this one?

AJ has the best vision, recognizing the hole, of any back the Vikings have had in awhile. He also has the ability to hit that hole. He may not have exceptional top end speed, but he is great at everything you want in a back. I remember Marshall Faulk who could do everything. Jones breathes some of that same air. Great at catching as well as picking up the blitz. He's a complete back; exactly what KOC needs for his offense.

Nope.

I think Kwesi (with KOC weighing in) has become more aggressive on pulling the trigger when an opportunity presents itself.
Not only with this FA class, but also with situations like Aaron Jones (hours) and even Daniel Jones (digging deep into the reserves after Cousins tore his Achilles with poor results showed the vulnerability).

The Vikings moves on and off the Practice Squad (yes, the rules for the PS were relaxed) show a mastery of the new roster rules that I don't recall seeing in the past.

I can't think of one. I can think of some really good individual signings like Antoine Winfield, Hutch, but not a class where nearly a half dozen players have come in and played as well, if not better than their billing.

I sure remember a lot of busts: Madieu Williams, Fred Smoot, Alex Boone....

I was so excited for Williams.  I really thought he was going to come in and make an impact.

To me, that one stings the most. He was one of the most sought-after free agents that year and the Vikings paid big to get him.
