Great, that should make us feel much better.
Right? Ok, serious question... Do facemask penalties generally get fines? Or is this some lame attempt to acknowledge they screwed up? And if this type of penalty is generally not fined, wouldn't you appeal it and tell the NFL to F-off?
Don’t bother with the lame attempt to “make it right,” NFL. So tired of watching refs decide games…

They screwed up? or blatant in your face favoritism? This ref was looking right at that facemask and refused to called it which ended the game. Remember the last game this ref officiated that we played? Two returned fumbles for TDs incorrectly called. Here's a question, can you name a huge incorrect call he made in our favor?

It wasn't just one ref looking directly at the play and didn't call. There are multiple angles of photos and videos showing the refs watching it happen

Referee's SHOULD be able to be fined. Maybe they'll start watching the games again if their paychecks are involved.

if the league gave a shit, there would be accountability for the officiating...but hell its hardly just the NFL, look how long it took MLB to usher Angel Hernandez out the door and I am pretty sure the NBA refs are allowed to bet on the games they officiate.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?
Fining a player for a referee's blown call is like punishing your kid for the wife scratching your car.
