I'm sure the Jets and Garrett Wilson expected better. What the hell is he thinking here?

He was not the same QB in GB the last few years there, not sure how the Jets expected he was going to be a top level QB for them. I don't think they will finish over .500.

He's certainly past prime, but I'm not sure (after the layoff) what's left in the tank?

You would think he can still read a D and find someone open easy enough.

I expected them to be one of the AFC surprises, but I could be way off.

All I know is we gotta play them soon and its across the pond. So some unique challenges.

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Not saying he is still the same player and dont disagree with where they finish. But dont see where he was not the same QB his last few years in GB. Lol he was the MVP 2 of his last 3 years in GB. 17 game average of 39 tds 7 ints, 4201 yards and 108 rating, 34-15 record.

Think of talented QBs on other rivalry teams in the past seasons that you looked up to. I mean, there's a fair amount of respect for Jared Goff in Detroit right now. Certainly there was respect over in Green Bay for Favre and Bart Starr back in the day. Tom Brady, surely the GOAT, hard to argue.

I think there is the other side of that equation where you probably had little respect for the QB, regardless of whether they won or lost (these typically won more than they lost, or they would not have had longevity to even be in this conversation).

I'll specifically call out a few that ran the gamut from being poor sports, divas, or criminal. Such as Cam Newton (my memories of him are pouting), DeShawn Watson (criminal), and as for divas...I'll call out both Russell Wilson as well as Aaron Rodgers.

I do not wish ill will on those that I have negative feelings about...I wish them well and wish them away. In the case of Rodgers, his sheer arrogance and imperfect character (you can tell a lot about a guy's family relationships), I wish him everything that he deserves with the Jets.

Rodgers looks far from done.  Used to not like the guy, but he’s grown on me since moving on from that disgusting team with the puke uniforms.

I'm replying to you but not really replying to you as a person, more so the idea of fans caring about players being good people. I don't know your opinion on every guy to ever wear purple. Since I don't won't lump you in with what I'm about to say. Just speaking general terms.

But for other fans I have a tough time taking them seriously when they go on about rival player X being a garbage person. However cheered for Favre after years of shitting on him for his character. More so fans who dump on guys like Rodgers for being pricks but to this day defend AP for being unequivocally trash. I'd respect those people a lot more if they just admitted they only care about other teams garbage not our own.

Did you see his little push off and stare down with Jets HC Saleh? lol, he's such a dick.

Not that I don't think of Rodgers as borderline sociopathic, but I think that was just two bro's giving each other a friendly bump. Overblown, like literally everything these days.

Years ago Viking fans on message boards got their undies knotted and stained over the angle of TJack's ballcap. It was filled with important meaningful information, based on which way it pointed.

I didn't realize that given time, the whole world would adopt the same paranoid, weird way of looking at life via Twitter. Taking every single public thing that happens and reading whatever crazy nonsense into it we feel like at the moment. Sick.

Rodgers is definitely being his usual arrogant, obnoxious self in that clip and it is definitely something regardless of how they want to spin it.

Saleh is the wrong guy to mess with, he is jacked and would rip him apart. I don't see Saleh being the guy who is going to just sit back and take that.

I had to agree with you.
His releases were as quick and sharp as ever IMO.
He's hard to sack cuz he has always been nimble and his quick release is almost like a tease if a DL gets close.

But I do remember a Barr walking into Rodgers (LOL)

There might be some pent up hostility there, but one thing to keep in mind is that both incidents occurred after something positive. It's like Cousins "you like that" thing. Turn the sound off and you might wonder what number 8 is so pissed about.

Knowing what we know now, where I land on vitriol is Zimmer's reaction. That wasn't surprise or startled. That incident was a window to how ugly things were.

As far as Rogers goes, I still think on any given week? He can give a D fits. He's old, but not quite done yet.
