49ers @ Vikings

I'd feel a whole lot better about this game if Addison was playing. We do have the added advantages of playing at home and having the extra day to prepare with the 49ers playing tonight. It will be competitive as long as Darnold continues to play efficient football and doesn't turn it over.

Yup, taking on the NFC champs with no Addison or TJH is a tall order.

Jones and the #2 and #3 WR's are going to have to step-up big to help out JJ

That's up for revisiting after they play Erin and the Jets tonight. We'll see just how "Purdy" Brock looks going into 2024.

We took them down without JJ last season, and Flores has the defense in a different gear now. Much to speculate on.

This is a big play defense. Aggressive and opportunistic. Another great day from Pat Jones and Van Ginkel. When you think this game really should've been 27-7 at one point, it really makes you appreciate just how good the Vikings might be.

Hope Jefferson's OK. Looked like maybe a quad bruise. This offense with Jefferson, Addison and Hockenson could really be something.

Even better, the Lions lost. If Houston beats Chicago (and they really should), Vikings alone at the top of the North. I figured 2-4 after six would be good. Now, that's the worst we can do.

I did not see this start coming at all, i was expecting 0-2, possibly 1-1. Been a fun start. Crazy to think that could easily have been a blow out for us.

As far as the niner fans, they are really thick in the midwest, i think it has a lot to do with their success in the 80s and them being a west coast team they were on a lot in our late games back then....and of course them always seemingly playing the cowboys made it easy to cheer for them...but their fans can be as bad as packer fans at times.
