J.J. McCarthy on missing the season: "It's tough, it's kind of a kick in the balls." “I want to thank all the fans for all the love I’ve received for the last couple weeks,” McCarthy said. “And I feel like I’ve been able to gain those deeper connections with my teammates and really take a step back and learn the offense in a more relaxed kind of state of mind. I’m just appreciating every moment.”

He's never had an injury, tough sledding mentally. He wants to be out there, man. He's going to be on fire next year. The Purple King is going to burn it down.

I like the stuff this kid is made of...  seems like he's cool, calm, confident, and has that drive to excel.  Add in the arm talent and athleticism and I think he's going to be special.
He's The One. I've never been all in on a Viking's QB in 40+ years. He'll have the troops behind him. He's a gunslinger with top notch athleticism. This dude is genuine. Trust me, I'll be there to tell everyone on this board that I called it....Sticky has been wrong many times, but he's right on the most important QB in franchise history since Fran Tarkenton.
