Multiple sources to TPP state that #Vikings Rookie CB Khyree Jackson was killed in an automobile accident last night near Temple Hills, MD.

This is very unfortunate to hear this news today. I was really looking forward to seeing what Jackson would bring to the Vikings but even more so, I am saddened for his family and friends.
OMG! This is heartbreaking. They were just kids. A car accident at 3am? And they think alcohol MIGHT have been involved...

Prosecutors moving 'expeditiously' toward charging decision in crash that killed Vikings rookie
The Maryland State Patrol said its investigators "believe alcohol may have been a contributing circumstance in the crash."
Prosecutors say they will review evidence this week and are moving "quickly and expeditiously" toward deciding whether to charge the driver who caused a three-car crash in Maryland over the weekend that killed a Minnesota Vikings rookie and two of his high school teammates.
Cornerback Khyree Jackson, the 108th overall pick in this year's NFL draft, died in the wreck shortly after 3:10 a.m. Saturday in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Upper Marlboro, the State Patrol said. Also killed were fellow vehicle occupants Anthony "A.J." Lytton Jr., 24, and Isaiah Hazel, 23.
The patrol said its investigators "believe alcohol may have been a contributing circumstance in the crash."
Denise Douglas, spokeswoman for the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office, told the Star Tribune on Monday that prosecutors "are definitely moving quickly and expeditiously" toward deciding whether to charge Clingman in connection with her role in the crash.
"An early evidentiary review has been scheduled for this week," Douglas said.
"Our office continues to work diligently with on this ongoing investigation," she added. "We only have initial reports, which do not include the , which has to be developed from the medical records in this case. We have not yet received those yet."
Messages were left Monday for Clingman, of Upper Marlboro, seeking her reaction to the patrol's allegations.
Court records show that Clingman has been cited twice since 2018 for speeding, including in one instance when she was ticketed for going 100 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone.

So she Tweeted something about him when he got drafted, so she knew him.
Could she have been chasing after him that night?
I don't think that alcohol was the sole contributing factor...something was going on personally with her (and those three guys).
So what is this then? Vehicular homicide x 3 PLUS DUI?

100%. Those kids didn't deserve to die by any stretch and did nothing wrong......but the worst drunks/drivers are on the road at that time. Fights happen at bars at that time. Many Uber drivers don't work past 11 pm in metro areas because of the obnoxious drunks. You significantly lower the risk of shit going down by not being out past 1:00 am.
Try telling that to most 20 somethings though...

Chasing or racing?
Clearly a lot of poor decisions were made and I'm not trying to victim blame at all because this is a tragic story. I'm waiting to hear more details and it sounds like we'll have those soon. Khyree and the others gone way too soon.
Let’s be real. The most likely scenario is that they were also drinking. Best case scenario is that the driver was a DD, although I probably wouldn’t have DD’d for my friends until 3am. Hopefully they weren’t racing. It’s a little too early for me to be putting all the blame on just the people that are still alive. Just got to wait for the facts to come out.

And to double down on a tragedy, there were two shot with one killed last night at the memorial vigil held in memory of the 3 boys.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Wish I could say I was surprised...Too many guns in the hands of too many thugs.
I am a bit surprised we haven't heard back from the labs by now...That toxicology report will inform much of what the prosecution does.

Craziness.
Do lab results typically take this long???

Probably not. But there haven't even been charges brought yet. So I suspect they're waiting for the complete picture to determine exactly what criminal charges (if any) to bring against the driver of the Infinity before releasing any information to the public.

The #Vikings plan to pay out the remainder of Khyree Jackson’s signing bonus to his estate.
Players will wear helmet decals, and coaches will wear pins, with the initials ‘KJ’ throughout the season. Jackson’s number 31 will go unused.
