Starting to read/see more of a single narrative: Vikes moving up

Minnesota is desperately trying to move up to #3 and get QB Drake Maye. This is coming from sports media that are more serious and seem to have real connections. Supposedly, some AFC 'executive' thinks Minnesota is going to pull this off. There are still a few outliers saying different, but last night and this morning the majority narrative is saying they're moving up.
Could all still be speculation and B.S., but it seems to have the steam of 'its almost Draft day and here's some clarity' information. I still have a hard time seeing it happening (I'm usually not so stubborn-minded over a take, but I will have to see it to believe it), but it sure feels like a lot more than conjecture the day before the Draft.

Its obviously too stupid to be real. The problem with an entity like NFL Radio is they need content.....any content. They need to fill air time, so bring on the ridiculousness as they still need to get through today and most of tomorrow.

Seems like the 'truth' this morning is that NE won't be moved off of the #3 spot and Minnesota will hold tight and stick and pick. That might not be popular with many Viking's fans but it might be the best option. I think the cost of moving up is just too steep with the potential trade partner so desperately also needing a QB. All of that has a ton of logic to it. Waive goodbye to the dream of Maye.

Agreed. I've been saying for awhile now I didn't believe moving up to #3 would happen despite all the smoke. Its a different situation when the team you are trying to trade with wants the same player you do at QB.....the comp would need to be stupid and ridiculous. Can you imagine if the fan roles were reversed and Minnesota was at #3 and possibly looking to trade down? Vikings fans would LOSE THEIR MINDS.
