10 times in Viking history, the team has started 1-3 (2nd for Zimmer). 1961, 72, 90, 01, 05, 07, 08, 10, 13 & 2020. 5 times, the won Game 5. But, only once did a team starting 1-3 go to the playoffs - Brad Childress' 2008 squad went 10-6. 8 of the 10 finished .500 or less.
