Super Bowl LV averaged 96.4 million viewers across TV and streaming, according to CBS. That number was down from last year's Super Bowl, which averaged roughly 102 million viewersacross Fox and streaming.

This year's matchup, in which the Tampa Bay Buccaneers blew out the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 to nab Brady his 7th Super Bowl ring, averaged 91.6 million viewers on CBS alone.

It's not a total shock that the ratings declined from last year, because the game was never really competitive.
