Have you seen either of these kids? Please call the corporate offices in Eagan if so.....😉 j/k

10 minutes on this board and our QB sucks, our coach sucks, our GM sucks, our owners suck and our draft picks suck. Surly mood.

Ultimately its a fan board and we are fans. We are 6-1 but I find myself wanting Wentz or Daniel Jones if we lose to Buffalo and the Offense is stagnant. Its not reasonable but here I am.

Yup. Whining while winning. First loss has them apocalyptic. Time for a detox.

Its been the normal ceremonial dance right? Most picks were picked around the consensus right spot but everyone overreacted to how good they would be in their first year and Brez did a great job. Its like we forget every year that professional development is a real thing and that Brez is not a personnel guy.

Well said. Just wondering though.....was it ever 'reasonable' to believe in Kyler Murray in the first place? Fans are going to fan, including me.

I think it was reasonable for sure. Murray has been to multiple pro bowls I think. The larger question is was it reasonable for him to be named over JJM? PF's spidey sense is telling me JJM flat out made some kind of fatal decision ( like the refusing to go into the game theory) and it was over.

Shedeur Sanders has been to a Pro Bowl. No consideration for an organization willing to pay $37 million dollars for K1 to play for Minnesota? Sounds like some hubris on Minnesota's side, although financially its zero risk. Lots of games to be played yet, an outstanding effort by Kyler against Buffalo at home under the bright lights might change the direction of this. But does that seem like a 'reasonable' take? Seems improbable at minimum.
Like you said, its a fan's board. Narratives galore.

Yep, the fact they dumped him for the bones of Jacoby Brissett is telling. I'm not sure we've accepted the JJM deal has been a debacle of epic proportions. Once we do, whose house are we going to with lighted torches and sharpened pitchforks? Some think its the Wilfs, Some KOC, but I doubt either of those parties are responsible for this mess. See? We are 6-1 with a bye currently and I'm calling it a mess...
I dont think it was unreasonable to have hope and expectations that K1 could do well here.
I was cool with it for $1mm for a try out.
They just po'd me big time trading out of McCarthy. They are separate yet connected in my brain
I havent lost all hope like some, but the reality is @JIT has to find another QB to start again all over...And that rook most likely wont be playing for a few years

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

I prepared myself for times in their rook seasons when they would be forgotten souls or just not splashing on the telly.
I knew it was a steeper climb for Banks and he actually surprised some early on.
I'm sure they've both been humbled physically and their minds are swirling with technique and the playbook.
Sure as the sun sets in the west, we'll hear em both say how much easier it is going into yr2.

Our QB blows chunks and the players know it. Players are calling it out. Not one hint they are questioning the playcalling or the coach.

May I recommend a nice Surly Stout to wash down the sorrows, depression, angst, whining...it's a perfect way to detox and as Sticky says, "day drinking is underrated."

It truly is. 💪

I never liked Murray and said as much in my first post after he was acquired. But I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and hoped JJ would win the competition. When JJ appeared to show little to no improvement and Murray, who also struggled in camp, was gifted the starting role I took solace in the adage, he only needed to be an average QB for the Vikings to be competitive! He hasn't even been average. The benefit of the doubt ended this week and, the QB situation seems to be anything but reasonable in the KOC era!
It's just Viking fandom. They consistently stomp on the fans heart and soul. The expectation of "WTF is going to happen now" is always out there. At least the kicker missed a couple so we don't have to hear about how close he might be to the record before he shanks one in the playoffs...

exactly!
Do we have a separate milk carton for Bredeson?
Could have had Emmet Johnson. Maxy is starting to look like the new Tai Felton.

I’m actually about 1/4 mile from one of the local vineyards. Plenty of whine there too 😎
