But not only did this team not look like a Super Bowl contender, it didn’t even look like a playoff team today

The truth of the matter is, if this continues, this is the beginning of the end.

The Vikings have no real defined future on offense beyond this season. No QB, no RBs, likely no starting TE, half of an offensive line, Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson. And it’s hard to imagine Jettas is going to stick around for what’s to come.

The idea that we hitched a “Super Bowl" roster to Kyler Murray is laughable. Compounded by the fact they traded away a young QB to make Kyler feel better. This all feels like a house of cards.

I’ve often thought KOC was pretty much untouchable, but if Teasley really wanted to start fresh with a coaching staff and bunch of draft picks he could do it next year by unloading JJ and Addison and build from the ground up.

Pretty insane to think this could be the near future for a 6-1 team, but I think the only thing that saves KOC’s job is a playoff win.

6-1 and Jefferson walks out after the game not saying a word to the media. Kyler is the issue here. No way to spin it.

I 1000% agree. Look, I have issues with KOC…but they stem more from his handling of McCarthy and his hand-picking of Kyler Murray.

My issues from him don’t stem from coaching or play design. His system DOES work. It’s been proven to work…literally everyone has seen it.

His biggest issue imo is ego. He thinks he can make any QB work. And when it doesn’t work that, I don’t think he knows how to handle it. In my heart of hearts, I think he really wanted to keep Darnold and he’s been grasping at straws since.

I was willing to give Teasley a pass on the McCarthy deal but thinking back I’m not really sure he deserves it.

Whatever happened behind the scenes, it really can’t be worse than what’s happening in front of them.

No losing the game was the issue.

Jettas had the higher rated QB today

Winning is wonderful cologne.

This frustration has been building for weeks…anything watching knew all it would take is one loss to watch it all crumble.

Is the crumble in the room with us right now?

Anyone in the room can smell it. Murray stinks and its going to bring the whole team down if they stick with him.

Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

The crumble is most definitely in the room. Things could get REAL ugly at US Bank next week with a repeat performance.

The literal only thing keeping frustrations from being aired was the fact they hadn’t lost. Vikings locker room about to be a boiler room. Pressure is about to get real heavy and real loud. And it’ll get worse with every impending loss

Jefferson's presser on Wednesday is what started it. But, of course, no one would put attention to it. Jefferson then looks at Murray during the game with a WTF look and hands up. Jefferson looks visibly frustrated with the offense. Jefferson then walks out of arena telling the media to F off. This is far worse than what you guys think. Key word of how to turn around this offense. Being prepared - Jefferson.

Odd, because KC said preparation was very good this week.

Is he lying?

Those were Jeffersons word man. You saying Jefferson is lying? KOC fucked up and hinged his wagon on a shit leader with absolutely no work ethic. Yes, I said it.

Could you link him saying it? Haven’t heard this from Jefferson.

Listen to his presser on Wednesday. Read between the lines. He 100% questioned preparation. Just stop, man. Seriously.

Key takeaways from his presser included:

  • Wins Over Stats: Jefferson admitted that dealing with lower production has been a mental challenge, but emphasized his perspective, saying, "I definitely would love winning games over having that production." He pointed out that in previous seasons he had massive individual stats but wasn't winning, making the team's current success a much better feeling. [1]

  • Confidence in the Offense: He defended the team’s strategy amidst outside criticism of their lower-ceiling offensive output, stating, "We're 6-0, what we're doing is working." [1]

  • Teammate Chemistry: He noted that the offense is continuing to gel and execution is what matters most as they prepare for their matchups.

I’m not saying you’re full of shit, but I tend to think had Jefferson called out preparation being an issue it would have come up here.

He’s been frustrated before. Worse, as a matter of fact. Gave up, on the field.

Remember when he totally gave up on tackling the Raven’s interceptor, last year, on a wildly overthrown JJM pass?

I do share some angst to get this O rolling.

It’ll happen.
