Zero shock. That 3 for Greenard is going to be in the late 60s early 70s range.

#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days.

Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept. pic.twitter.com/avMUeBBOua

More details: What was originally believed to be a superficial blood clot was then revealed Saturday afternoon to be several blood clots in Jalen Hurts' lungs. At that point, it all changed. It is serious. It is scary.

And Jalen Hurts should make a full recovery. https://t.co/riJ68k5Q8H

Why on earth was Jalen Hurts allowed to play in London vs. the Jaguars?

How in the world did the system fail to the point where he played in a football game?

Ok, sleep was a risk, but playing a violent game with risk of trauma was not? WTF is going on in Eagles land?

I was thinking the same thing. How could the doctor give the "okay" to play? The doctor should've told him not to play. (IMO)

Hey, I was wondering the same thing. How could the coach allow him to play sleep deprived & with blood clots!?!? They should be counting their lucky stars that a tragedy didn't occur during the game.

More about Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts now being expected to miss the rest of the season after doctors discovered multiple blood clots in his lungs:https://t.co/5PDkyDWqwy

Jalen Hurts is expected to miss the rest of the season after doctors discovered multiple blood clots in the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback's lungs, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Hurts will undergo treatment involving blood thinners that is expected to sideline the three-time Pro Bowler for at least three months, sources informed of the diagnosis told Rapoport and Schefter.
Hurts' agent, Nicole Lynn, and the Eagles released a statement Monday detailing Hurts' condition. Lynn and the Eagles said Hurts has deep vein thrombosis and bilateral pulmonary emboli, meaning a blood clot traveled from his legs to his lungs.
Hurts is "clinically stable and has no significant functional limitations," according to the statement, but will not be allowed to participate in football activities while on anticoagulation medication.
"Jalen's prognosis is very good, and we expect a full recovery," the statement said. "We anticipate that he will have the opportunity to resume contact football activities when off the blood thinners. In the meantime, he will remain active around the team and continue to condition. More importantly, we anticipate that he will have no long-term effects."
Hurts was initially diagnosed with what was described as a superficial blood clot in his calf. That diagnosis occurred in London before the Eagles' Week 5 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Hurts played in that game -- a 19-17 loss for the Eagles -- despite the initial diagnosis, and attempted 40 passes.
Sources told Rapoport that Hurts was in the hospital in London until 4 a.m. on the morning of the game. He did not sleep the night before the game because he was told that sleeping posed health risks associated with the clot, according to sources.
Hurts' clot is considered to be "provoked" -- meaning a favorable prognosis with treatment and care -- because he was cleated in his calf, sources told Rapoport.
The Eagles placed Hurts on injured reserve two days ago after consultations with numerous doctors and experts. Hurts already had been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, but the Eagles waited to make the roster move until after consulting with medical experts, according to sources.

This is the publicly known Jalen Hurts timeline:
• The team says he was cleated in the calf vs. the Rams in Week 4 but didn't ask for treatment until a few days later, practicing in full in between.
• After the #Eagles flew to London, an ultrasound found a superficial blood clot in his calf. Doctors still cleared him to play.
• However, the night before the game, he spent time in the hospital and was told not to sleep because it was a risk. He played the full game without much sleep.
• He then took the roughly 7-8 hour flight from London back to Philly and started practicing in full that week. Speaking to the media, Hurts called it a "very unique experience" but didn't want to get into details.
• A follow-up ultrasound then showed the clot had moved, and he was ruled out for Week 6.
• Further testing has now diagnosed him with deep vein thrombosis and blood clots in both lungs. He's on blood thinners and expected to miss the rest of the season.

Let’s hope he recovers from this. He seems to be a good guy. Hate to see this happen to anyone.
