Not to read too much into it, but maybe they really like CJ Carr? Ton of other D prospects there too.

With how data driven and meticulously thorough Teasely is... And how deep this QB class is... and the fact we don't have a QB under contract next year... I'm guessing he'll have packets of info on each QB prospect for Kevin to review.
Tolstoyesque

Yeah, its tough to get a real read right now, but IMO he's pretty much the kind of QB that KOC would honestly want outside of prototypical size and average arm strength. That may be the reason he's not considered a top tier guy come the Draft, but who knows. I think O'Connell ideally might want a guy more gifted physically?

I’m not calling this entire QB class fraudulent, but IMO, it’s nothing special. Absolute hyperbole from the draft community to date. Maiava to date ‘looks’ the most like what KO would want. But he’s flawed. They all seem pretty flawed.
Get prepared to maybe speak some Mac Jones if Murray doesn’t pan out.

Very logical.....I'd hate Mac Jones here BTW. 🤮

I'd be ok on a 2 year contract if they draft a QB high. Otherwise, yuck.

Definitely at minimum 2 years. We won’t make that mistake again.

I think I am on the same page with Mac. Not that I am crazy high on him, but I think he could be a QB that gets better with time.

That’s it?!!! 34 schools in 5 weeks seems super low to me. They must have small staffs to not be at every single one of those games in that list from Ryan Fowler. I can see having a set staff of full time guys, but if it were me I’d have a slew of seasonal scouts who can catch games, review video, and talk to college team personnel. If anything to identify guys for deep dives. I know there are “services”, but from what I see they are usually super cookie cutter evaluations with not a lot of real value.
There are about 65 to 70 FBS games per week and about 60 games FCS. Just 34 schools in 5 weeks is far from due diligence in my mind. Not every game will have prospects, but almost all will at the FCS level and a fair number at the FCS. I had no idea it was so limited. No wonder so many guys fall through the cracks or at least aren’t noticed enough to go where they probably should.
I see how 30% of NFL rosters are undrafted players and 11% to 12% of the starters are undrafted players.
It makes me wonder how many Adam Theilen’s are out there who move on to life after football because they figure they have no shot to get noticed? The NFL didn’t even know he was a 4.4 guy until he did that combine and I think he even had to pay to attend!
In my opinion, this is a giant missed opportunity for a team to get that extra edge on the competition.
