U may want to look away....
Listening to Kevin O’Connell, it sounds like Jordan Addison, Jordan Mason, Christian Darrisaw, and T.J. Hockenson all have a realistic shot to return after the Vikings' bye.

Gosh. That’s brutal. Not a gimmy on the schedule. We’ll know damn soon if this team is real or lucky.
With injuries piling up on offense, Vikings QB Kyler Murray "kind of turned back the clock a little" in today's 23-13 victory over the Saints. More from New Orleans here as the Vikings enter their bye with a 5-0 record...https://t.co/MnaPYCCUS4

Betting most of those teams don't wanna see us coming!

I don’t share your angst, PF bruh. (Don’t see what you see in Indy)
As JIT and P-Saur posted, those teams have to play VIKES!
The toughest games will be Bills and Falcons, and we got em at home.
we aight.
If Murray can keep playing efficient football, using his legs, and we can start getting a few more explosives in the passing game and run game, we'll be fine.
The divisions games will be tough since all the teams in the NFC North are good, Bills will be a handful and we have to stop Bijan, but otherwise Jets, Commanders, Panthers, and Patriots... I'm penciling those in as dubs.

This is why the current 5-0 record is so HUGE for the team right now. They aren't going to go 17-0, but when you can start seeing wins on the schedule its what good teams are capable of.

Meh.... With the Defense playing the way they are I am not too worried. Especially since we were missing 3 scoring weapons on O and our starting LT & LG.
High end 14-3. Calling it now. Low end 11-6
Colts - W
Bills - L
at Packers - W
49'ers (mex) - L
Falcons - W
Panthers - W
@ Patriots - L
Lions - W
Commanders - W

Wowzer!
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
It'll be interesting to see how we much up against the Lions. Gibbs was brutal when we played them last time. Flores just kept sending blitzes and exposed his sib-par pass protection. Lions had to take him off the field in obvious passing situations.
If Flores makes the Lions offense look silly, then we might start to have our answer on how this season will go. Teams can no longer bully ball are D line and that will continue to get better as Banks and Orange continue to get better. The D line is talented and deep.
Banks, Orange, Redmond, Rodriguez and finish it off with Elijah Williams. That is some significant beef and talent right there from top to bottom. If you want to know the difference of this defense to previous years, and also for the propensity of the vikings defense to wear down or become predictable as the season wears on, that D interior will be the difference maker.
I see only four games on that schedule where we might be underdogs: Bills, 49ers, maybe the Pats, maybe the Bears. If we split those four and maybe drop two we should win, that's still 13-4.

That's about where I'm at.
Not a lot of veteran, intelligent QBs that will be able to handle Flores on that schedule. So if you get semi competent offensive play, should be good most weeks.
Bears, Packers, Lions are always tough because they know you so well.
I know we're technically good against the run, but I'm still a little worried that a team with a dominant running game could do enough to get a win against us.
I think we're still due for a couple bad Kyler games, where you get a couple turnovers in your own end and they get a couple easy TDs off that and it snowballs or maybe a return TD against you. Games just get weird frequently.
Even if the team went 7-5 from here....that's 12 wins. The math gets fun when you start out winning your first 5. I think there are 7 home games left on the schedule?
