Silly power rankings
Yes, power rankings are click bait. They are usually terrible hot takes and don't make sense.
That said, the NFL.com dropped the Vikings 4 spots after another lopsided win. Three 2-2 teams (including the Broncos who just lost) are ahead of the Vikings. As are the Bears.

Yeah, I know. Stupid to care. But it is Thursday and most viking news has dwindled.
The only thing that matters are having enough wins to win the division and make a run in the playoffs...grades and rankings don't mean a damn thing...

I mentioned the other day that the rankings are just B.S. Like you said, they don't make sense.
BTW ~ Nothing is stupid if one cares about it.
Yes, it's been a fairly slow, quiet day....... It's just the "Calm before the storm" that's coming on Sunday when we're load as thunder in the Superdome!

I think the issue is so many talking heads only focus on offense and entertainment value. I love running the ball and playing D. Win ugly. It beats losing pretty.
I get it that of the undefeated teams, we might have the most questions. But putting NE and other 2-2 teams ahead of a 4-0 team?

Defense and special teams.... Win ugly.
I dig that recipe. They're my favorite games to watch.
Power rankings matter as much as pro football focus grades.
Don't trade JJ.
We have never been a media darling. They hate us for getting in their way. Think about this, if the Packers, Cowboys, or Eagles were 4-0 right now without scoring even one TD they would be in the top 5.

Gotta laugh at the 2-3 cowgirls ranked ahead of us.
Nice to see them lose to a team we pummeled.
Makes the Ranking laughable. Just a bunch of opinions. We deserve to be top 5. Being as dominant on D and ST isn't something that should be taken lightly. A team like that can very well go all the way.
I hate to be a greedy piggy, but damn if Minnesota can get to 5-0, it would be SO sweet in the NFC overall picture. 4 NFC wins already. 2 wins in the division. And somebody has to lose against Chicago and Green Bay. 🔥

Next few games....
Saints
Colts
Lions
Then Bills
Packers
Then 49'ers and a tougher run of games.
But the point is we could be 7-0 going into the Buff game. Maybe lose that and then beat the Pack and 8-1.
After seeing Murrays 4th quarter and the connection he is making with TJ/Addison I am more than excited about JJ & Mason coming back and all of a sudden our offense starts clicking at the right time of the year.
If that happens watch out NFL. With our D I don't see many teams who can hang with us.

That is often overlooked, conference and divisional wins are huge. And we are stacking them.

That is the best part. The wins are big time when it comes down to the end of the year.
