Starting to warm up. Hopefully we get Jefferson and Jackson back next week. Mason back after the bye.

Lost the left side of the OL, Chop was giving O’Neil fits, Jones dropped 3 balls. Ugliest 4-0 in franchise history but I’ll take it.

Has Murray looked rusty? Absolutely. Has he shown improvement in the second half of the Phins game? Absolutely. Does that need to continue? Absolutely.
Weird how no one other than myself has noticed the adjustments KO made for the Phins.

JFC. What a fan base.

Everyone on earth this week in the national media is saying Kyler has been terrible so far, but if you say that on a Vikings message board then you're a miserable loser who needs to find another team. Cmon JT you don't mean that!

Murray completed like 5 passes all game to receivers, against the worst team in the league. At home. It's been comically bad.

Also why is Kyler "rusty"? What rust? He's a healthy veteran who got hurt then benched but had a full offseason with us. I'm curious how many games we're giving this cat to knock the rust off. We're almost at the bye...

I'm loving this 4-0 start, I bought some Turner and Jefferson cards with my nephew yesterday for fun. But I think it's okay for fans to call a spade a spade and say Kyler right now is the dude who didn't help on the group project. Hopefully that changes this week.

Well, when you are lectured all off-season about how if the baseline QB play was even average we would be a Super Bowl contender and we signed a former 2-time Pro Bowl veteran QB who was a former #1 overall pick, talented as heck, was in a shit situation, is now surrounded by the best coaching and team than he's ever had (taking a breath)... and the baseline QB play has literally been as bad (or worse) than last year during our 5 game win streak to close the season... Forgive fans for expecting more now that we're 4 weeks into the season. The QB play HAS to get better or we won't make a playoff run despite a sweet 4-0 start.
What fans are saying right now is no different than what you and Maroon were preaching all off-season. I'll give Murray time, but I expected more glimpses of this talent than we've seen so far.

Lectured?

I gave my opinion. I recall calling out the absolute bull shit statements regarding Murray that we easily disproven.

Kyler isn't "rusty." He's new to KOC's offense and it's taking time to connect the two, especially with Jefferson out. I thought he'd better than he's been, but we all acknowledged it could take some time to connect. I just wanted to see modest improvement and I think we saw that. Maybe a little bit more next week, then the bye. I think the patience we show with Murray now will pay off later in the year.

Just checking original post. Yup, I’m sizing his jacket for Canton.

And that is my hope. But its ok to say more should be expected right now, doesn't mean it never happens.

Sorry, Maroon. With both promised the board ALL WORLD MURRAY. Super Bowl winning Murray. GOAT Murray.

We failed to deliver.

See you at the stockade as soon as I reposition the goalposts.

Bring snacks.

Can’t speak for everyone but I don’t think anyone is blaming or associating you and/or Maroon with Kyler or Wentz or Brosmer or Cousins or some guy you said the Vikings should’ve drafted 3 years ago.

I just want better QB play and I don’t care where that comes from.

We dont win that phish game (potenially) if K1 doesnt make those throws to Addison and Hock in the 4th quarter.

I'm not pimping him for $50mm per contract, but I do know he's got rust to knock off not playing since last October and the playbook takes time to wrap a head around for a QB too.

U all do what u need to do to fan, I'm going to give him more weeks and hope for the best. I dont think its ludicrous to expect things will improve when he gets more than 11 snaps with Jettas and he's more at ease with the scheme.

The last 2 drives were pretty damn good. More of that, please....just need some TDs instead of FGs.

As incredible as our defense has been, we needed last second stops the past two weeks to secure the wins. Seems like I was in the minority (at least at the time) but I was thrilled when Hock slid. Kyler and the offense stepped up late no doubt.

One thing I try to remember as I search for patience -- Kirk Cousins had trouble picking up this offense. Veteran, playbook studying geek, 3D headset wearing Kirko. The only reason to think K1 would progress faster is if KOC learned his lessons and made changes to his offense to make it K1 friendly -- and I have given up hope that KOC can adjust his offense.

One other thing -- injuries suck. But Bryce Young and Carolina looked awesome, and I think they had one starter on their O-line playing against the Lions. Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent are winning games for the Bears. Every team is going through the injury attrition phase right now -- it can't be an excuse.

Hey I noticed. Maybe I didn't post about it. Or maybe I did, I can't remember cuz I'm old lol. Wait...

Anyhow, I'm just embracing winning ugly. And repeating myself - Kyler and KOC were always gonna need a few weeks to get this figured out, especially since September is now basically the real preseason and Kyler missed half of it with a concussion. It's KOC's job on the line if he doesn't get this right, it's not complicated.

One more time for the slow kids: Just win, baby. If they start losing then I'll complain.

I have been all over this as well. Adjustments were made, the offense really started rolling the second half. Sticking with the run game, even from the shotgun, making adjustments. What more can you ask? Oh and the win to go 4-0.

Its the first time a K1 passing offense has done anything, so yeah....its nice they finally chipped in for a W. I'd give Will Reichard the credit if I were the offense. A whopping 6 points after halftime. Have to let KOC know that red zone success isn't just a channel on Sundays. ✌️
