Imo its way too early to predict doom or ext for K1...

Agree any qb drafted will most likely sit yr1. But that is clearly their #1 need now, that and RB.

I think they draft a qb even if K1 is extended...

I've actually moved into the camp of we can't let Flores go and I'd advocate making him HC next year, assuming KOC does the usual one and done in the playoffs. Assuming we make the playoffs. Assuming, etc. etc.

IMO Teasley will be drafting a QB next year regardless of all other circumstances, win, lose or whatever. I think he's going to put his own stamp on things.

As for trading McCarthy, it was clear over a long period of time that there was a BIG rift between him and the HC, because all the rumors leaked out about it over time. Couple that with his lack of progress on the field, they were already trying to trade him at the end of August. The Giants circumstance just came along at the right time and removed the distraction which is all that it was at this point IMO.

I luv BFlo, I'm pretty convinced he's at the sweet spot for himself at DC. But clearly he wants another chance at HC somewhere.

If there was a big disjoint between the HC and 9? Well, the hc won out for now.

I think there was more than that going on behind the scenes and Ive read where there were issues with nein and the Qb coaches and more.

Who knows where the real truth lies???

LOL.... What would give you ANY thought that MN would want to extend his contract with how he has played so far? I guess now would be the time to buy low on him with his performance so far... Jury is still out on Murray and if he keeps playing this way there is no way in hell he gets a new contract.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt since he lost JJ so fast and that allowed the D to lock down the rest of our crew. Hopefully JJ's injury isn't bad. Haven't heard anything yet

I personally think you let KOC walk and you show Flores the show. Under one condition, you get yourself a good OC with play calling experience and don't touch him.

I’m not sure why at 3–0 we would be cleaning house? I think the Giants needed a quarterback, the Vikings wanted at least a fifth for him, and now he’s gone… Nothing more. Just timing.

The guy is 46-25 with 9 different starting quarterbacks in 3.3 years. Yes D has a lot to do with it but coaching is a TON of it especially with all the close games we mostly seem to win.

His offense seems to be a real liability. I am just saying, not sure how long you can hope with him.

I think it's what you said a long time ago. The Vikings were looking to get rid of him.

They finally found someone that would give them something in return. Whether he is worth a 5th is yet to be determined.
