Wow

Wow is right. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like that before, particularly from the Vikings. They thoroughly mauled the Packers in the fourth quarter.
So Matty and I were "watching" the game together, albeit 600 miles apart. The first quarter was pathetic. K1 looked lost and then thank God he got a concussion.
As much as the Packer's drove in first half, Love had less than a 50% completion rate. Keep that in mind.
Wentz admirably went in, and predictably they flummoxed around for the rest of the first half.
But BFlo dialed it up in the second half, particularly the fourth quarter...
Wentz settled down, the running game stabilized, Jetta showed up big time, and the 4th quarter was epic.
I wish Hitman had kept that INT ball he tipped into Pierre's hands...would have been appropriate, but still, Harry was the one who tipped it.
I'm going to have a good week and so is Matty.
Please God, just one Lombardi before I die.
I'm not even sure what to think about that game, lol. Its a W and that's what counts, but good luck trying to determine something definitive about the team sifting through that roller coaster game. 29 unanswered points, so unbelievably unexpected with how they were playing at that point. One week at a time....
Big Citrus! I also read they are load managing Banks for a few weeks to protect that foot recovery?

Who’s excited now?!?
Everyone should be, don't know if that will be the case on this board. 😉
One week at a time. ✌️
I turned to my son and said, "wait, we're actually WINNING this game now? How is that even possible? Terrible everywhere. Even our vaunted left side OL wasn't so vaunted. Even the defense was leaving gaps in the secondary the size of a parking lot. I'm still sitting here in a state of shock that we're 1-0.

@StickierBuns Dalls Turner's stat line for the 2nd half was absolutely insane. He was a huge part of the win with the defensive turn around.

Thats exactly how I felt leaving the stadium, the drive home, after dinner and going to bed.
Disbelief
So many dazed and confused Pack fans leaving that stadium lol!

Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

Weren't there "whispers" of LaFleur job security last season? Or am I just mixing up memories lol!

That was funny. Turner against the Packers stat line was a Sack, FF, 8 pressures, 7 QB hits. Crazy.

There was some scuttle last year... especially after they went 9-7-1 and lost out after Parsons went down. Got louder when they blew a 21-3 lead against the Bears in the playoffs. Gave up 25 pts to the Bears in the 4th quarter... eerily similar to this game.
The #Vikings are ranked at 9 in @NFLonFOX recent rankings after week 1. pic.twitter.com/muVyXgjzvb

The week 1 overreactions! S.F. puts a hurting on most of the teams above them and might even beat Seattle right now. Vikings are no where near top 10 right now. I would put Baltimore, and possibly Cincy in front of them right now to push them out of the top 10.
