Why Yurosek AND Bartholomew?
I was certain it was going to be either or for the final roster? And now Cam Grandy is on the PS, so its especially surprising....
It looks like they definitely want to run 13 personnel. That’s the only thing I can think of.

The bigger question is will all 4 TEs be active on game days.
Yurosek is used primarily as a blocking TE and Bartholomew is more of a receiving TE. Also, Yurosek is used a lot on Special Teams
We carried four in 2023 with Hock, Oliver, Mundt and Muse. I agree with JIT, we're going to see a lot of 13 as KOC builds his 4th quarter team.
I have a recurring fantasy (well, the one not involving Lily James) where we stack Oliver, Yurosek and Bredeson next to Darrisaw and Jackson and play some Lombardi football. If it's effective, faking it and running a QB keeper around the right should work well. Maybe we put Jennings over there too.

Yurosek I was pretty high on coming out of the draft. I agree, he really is a big part of STs. I like them both and happy we retained them.

I think they have long terms plans for Yurosek beyond just this year. Causes a bit of roster management issues for a year. However to have 2 serviceable tight ends off the UDFA and late round draft picks is pretty solid.

Thinking he will replace Oliver?

I agree. Yurosek is a very smart player as well. That helps.
