Starters are pretty well set on this team for 26
After QB, there aren't too many big competitions for starters on the D or Offense...
I think the only real question is Banks. Thats almost just a label cause the rotation will be frequent.
Then it's just a matter of how much play time the yr1 guys get?
This really is a win now team.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!
I think DL and S might be a little unsettled.

It’ll be interesting to see who they retain for the 53. The top of the roster is essentially set.

CB - who is starters and where they land will be interesting. DL will be a rotation - what will be interesting is who is in that rotation. TE could end up becoming more of a split that a true starter situation. Then Punter - who is going to win that spot.
S is a bit of a mess. Our only 2 proven "safeties" (Metellus and Adams) are really more big nickel/rover guys. Jackson and Ward have been tolerable at best. Jakobe Thomas has been invisible in TC even when not out of practice.
The middle of our DL is still a big question mark until we see results. Same with C and RG...
So the same thing we have said for the past 20 years. The OL and DL are questionable.

I don't think there's any team out there that doesn't have some questions on the OL and DL. To just have 2-3 question marks (and we spent draft capital on all but RG) seems like about as good as we've been in that department in a long time.

Good thing we use a lot of big nickel/rover guys. Every evaluation of the Vikings defense should come with an asterisk that explains "in a Flores defense." I've been saying for a couple years now that Metellus probably wouldn't even be a starter on another team with a more traditional defense. But who cares? For us, he's a terrific player.*
