He's great at finding the ball, nine career interceptions thanks to his instincts and ability to track the ball and stick with his man. His hips are smooth and controlled during his backpedal, sticks through route breaks. Has the speed to stay with vertical routes and the quickness to recover when he gets beat at the line. Overall, he has solid ball skills, strong in coverage with his movement, and recovery speed to handle the deep pass. Didn't know much about him going into the draft. He possesses the skill set to be able to make an impact however. I look forward to watching him grow within Flores defense.
He's in for quite a shock going from covering WRs who play for University of the Incarnate Word (yes, that's a real team) to covering Amon-Ra St. Brown. But he's got the right attitude, that's for sure.

He’s probably a high priority UDFA without the strong showing all week at the Senior Bowl. I like his chances.

The kid is uber athletic, which is something we all want in a CB, but is he coachable. If so, he will be learning from one of the best DCs in the game and hopefully be molded into a star. It was a ideal for him to show in Mobile like he did, to prove he can compete with big program WRs. He built his confidence in a smaller conference and used that to compete with the big boys. It'll be fun to watch his progression. I am hoping he is the Khyree Jackson replacement. I was so high on Jackson and so distraught after his sudden passing as I truly believed he would fit our defense perfectly. Let's hope Demmings can be that guy long term in MN.
