Some good stuff in there. I think most of the responses are predictable. The only one that kinda surprises me is the offensive line, with a distinct plurality expressing very little confidence. The talent is there. Surely the football gods would not make us endure two years in a row with 26 different line combos....right?

I was just about to bump this.
I thought it was pretty interesting too.

We're in the good year of our every other year cycle. No injuries to the OLine, 14 wins.
Interesting article. I am absolutely in the "Wait and See" camp, whereas last year I was a lot more confident in the team.
The narrative the team was selling last summer was:
"JJ McCarthy has arrived! Thank you for your service, Mr. Darnold but we are A-Okay without you. KO is coach of the year. We won lots of games. We spent a bunch of money and we are ready to rock!!!"
Almost all of that turned out to be wrong/woefully optimistic, and we fans got bamboozled with a side of Brosmer. This year, we don't really have a clear message from the team to rally around, yet.
Harry is gone (or is he?)
Kyler is in (or is he?)
Brez is running the draft (or was he?)
The siren song rallying cry of 2025 has been replaced with mixed signals galore. Plenty of time for it to all come together before the season but as of today-- I'll wait and see.
EDIT- Just noticed Juaun Jennings who's been on the team for a month got more "My Favorite Viking" votes than any of our QBs 😂😭😭
What is your confidence level in Kevin O’Connell as the team’s head coach? 79.9% above average.
What is your confidence level in Brian Flores as the team’s defensive coordinator? 98.0% above average
Kind of pokes holes in the "Flo is a shitty coordinator " argument .

Haven't heard many say that?

Forness: "I don’t think J.J. McCarthy is a franchise quarterback... combined with everything else, I don’t think he’s a franchise guy.”
I just don't know that we've seen enough in 10 starts to make that statement.

One thing we know about that statement is the dude who actually called him that was Kevin O'Connell....right after his injury his rookie year in preseason. I don't think anyone else had before that. "Fans can rest assured that we've got our franchise QB"......big words. Pretty hyperbolic for the King of CoachSpeak. Maybe something he regrets saying now?

I wonder if other teams can point to a similar stat. I tend to believe that bad luck rarely shows up for a team two years in a row. For example, the 2023 Vikings lost Cousins, Jefferson missed 7 games, Hock blew out his knee. 2024 was one of our healthier seasons. I remember many of us saying in the spring of 2025 that while we did bring in a lot of talent, we probably shouldn't expect to stay as healthy in 2025 as we did in 2024. And sure enough we didn't. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. So I think we might be due for a little better luck this year, especially on the injury front. It actually wouldn't surprise me too much if both Murray and McCarthy stay healthy all year.

Other than that one guy, is that really an argument?
