I remember that year well. I was 9, the first year I started paying a lot of attention to sports. Walt Frazier was on the Knicks and the Vikings had a rookie "Spin Doctor" named Chuck Foreman. In baseball, the A's were dominant with players like Vida Blue, Catfish Hunter and Sal Bando. Talk about perfect baseball names.

Really impressive run by Knicks, played absolutely dominate basketball to get to the finals and then managed to take Spurs down 4-1 while trialing in every game by at least 12 points. Enjoyed watching their run and the way they adapted to the style of play each series. Everyone had already crowned the winner of the OKC/Spurs series as the champs. Well deserved Knicks!
