TCO Ortho is a top 3 facility in the country, attached to Vikings' corporate offices with TCO's top people right there....and they gave the Vikings the go-ahead. That is definitely good enough for me.
Not sure if anyone saw it but not long after the draft there was an interview with a foot surgeon who went into exhaustive detail about why the Vikings needn't be overly concerned with the foot. I obviously have no clue but he sounded convincing.

That they are...We're lucky to have some pretty good health care here (TCO, Mayo, UofM etc.)
TCO doing my wife's new knee this fall. I know one of the Viking docs personally and he is affiliated with that group and they are top notch. I see him on the sidelines every game. Thats my silly claim to fame today.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

I'm worried about the foot. Breeze mentioned that the Vikings' doctors ("the best in the world") signed off on it, so that gives me confidence that he can put this behind him. If he doesn't, Breeze and the docs are gonna get some heat.
But when he's healthy, he's immediately going to be the most physically imposing player on our defense, and it will be hard to keep him off the field. He might be raw and he probably won't know what he's doing for a while, but there just aren't many players in the NFL built like this guy.
Had the same concern. I was all over Banks early until his combine injury. Then I scaled back to Woods. Banks talent is undeniable. He is like a create-a-player. If TCO signed off on it, we kind of have to be on board, I guess. I am super happy to see what he does for this defense. I am really excited for the future of this team. Let's just hope your boy is everything you claim him to be.

I saw it and yes, he explained it in laymen's terms and it appears to be a much minor injury compared to other areas on his foot possibly. That said, he's a big man who need his toes to push off on that quick first step, so either way, he needs to be fully healed to be the game changer he can be.

The last injury at the combine was because he said he was "wearing the wrong shoes." Let's hope with the zillion dollar ortho facility and the millions they've paid him and the umpteen staffers, coaches and medical guys surrounding him now, that he can wear the right shoes going forward. Paging the team podiatrist...
