Maybe forecasting the fortunes of QBs isn't my forte, lol. 😂🤔I think this kid is going to turn out to be pretty damn good. He's a damn magician being elusive in the pocket, not sure I've seen anything quite like it. Just 24 years old. He's got to hit the layups more often and become more accurate, but what QB doesn't have things to work on? Even if he just makes incremental growth the next few years, watch out. I wish he played for an AFC team so I could enjoy him more. 😉

He was electric in college and has been in the pros too. Maybe not a top 5 guy but fun to watch, root for, and rally around. Bears fans are lucky to have him.
He still struggles with accuracy and I'm not sure to what degree that improves. With him, though, it doesn't matter a whole bunch. His off-schedule creativity makes him a handful for every defense.

Seriously though......how much hype will there be for a Williams - Murray matchup in Chicago Week 2 if both QBs come out hot and with a win in Week 1? 12 noon matchup, weather will be great and two magicians in the pocket. 🔥🔥
I remember when he came off the bench playing the Longhorns 2021 down 31-17 Caleb won the game and kicked their ass.
I was fortunate to watch every snap at USC, he screamed Patrick Mahomes to me and did things that I have only seen Mahomes do. On top of that he was a great kid throughout college, awesome teammate and leader. It sucked all the BS he had to go through with the attacks against him personally, cause he is a really great kid. He has been more Favre than Mahomes to me so far in that a lot of amazing plays followed by some head scratchers, not as consistent as he was in college. I was really bummed to have him go to our division.
I still think he is going to be more flash in the pan, he will never be the passer that the league needs him to be, his improv will keep him relevant for a few years, but ultimately his playing style will lead to an early decline in his abilities and he will be an afterthought in 5 years.
