Probably little chance we can draft him since he'll likely go somewhere between our picks at 18 and 49, but Omar Cooper Jr is my first real draft crush of 2026. His body control and RAC is remarkable. I don't care what he measures; I don't care what he times; OCJ is going be a weapon in the NFL.

Not much tread left. But an alternative if we don’t draft one.

I'd be surprised if Tyson went that high too. The injury history is legit. He's also got better movement skills than any WR in this draft and it's not particularly close. I'd start getting interested in the late teens, somewhere between 17 and 19. Curious to see if he tweaks another hammy at his pro day tomorrow.

Happens every year. You identify some great values in the 4th round, but by the time the draft rolls around they're 2nd round picks. I see that with Hurst and Stribling. Bryce Lance could be another.

Jordan Tyson only ran routes and did not run a 40 at his pro day this afternoon as he continues to recover from the hamstring injury. How that effects his draft stock is anybody guess.

20-25 routes, but apparently he calmed the nerves regarding his health.

Cooper Jr is definitely my WR of choice. He just has that Deebo in him. Line him up anywhere!

Now my new favorite Day 2 WR. Especially if he falls to Day 3 because some Athens needledick cop had to invent "standing while black" on a public sidewalk.

I think the last thing the Vikings should (or will) do is trade Addison after working so hard to establish a qualified and deep QB room. Even if we exercise his 5th year option, that only guarantees the $18M in the 5th year. It doesn't increase what we're paying him now, which is peanuts.

I don't think they will either, just an option if so inclined. I think they really like Addison.

Late round upside if he's there in the 5th or later is Barion Brown WR LSU. Could he be our next Stefon Diggs or Adam Thielen?

While he may only be 5'11", he has some great hands, wiggle, speed, but more importantly, he can block and return kicks. He tends to find space in coverage as well, providing to be a reliable target. He will need to protect the ball better, but he could be a nice find for this offense in the later rounds.

McGinn's scouts on the evolving TE position:

“This position is exploding, without a doubt,” an executive in personnel said. “The number of multiple tight ends on Power 4 teams is incredible. They’re being used with three, four, five per team getting significant playing time. They play on an edge, at a wing, as a fullback.”

“It’s just how the game is being played now. They’re trying to create mismatches and force you into whatever defensive personnel they want to get you into with all these extra tight ends.”

On Kenyon Sadiq:

“Just physical and can run. He’s put together really well even though lengthwise he’s not prototype. Very athletic in space. I thought they underused him. The quarterback (Dante Moore) struggled getting him the ball."...“Before this year you could tell he was just learning the position,” a second scout said. “The primary way they would get him the ball was on screens and short passes. He was kind of a gadget guy. Lot of catch-and-run plays. This year they finally pushed him downfield with all of his speed and he had some deep-ball catches. He can really sky for the ball. He made some spectacular catches. He had six drops this year. It’s interesting. He really wasn’t a big factor in the offense. When you watched him against press-man coverage or even off he didn’t really have a feel for how to get open despite all this upside and athletic ability and speed. He’s coming. He’s got to keep getting better. What he’s capable of is just spectacular, it really is.

I really like Sadiq and some of these WRers, but if MInnesota goes that route in round 1.....BFlo has every right to be beyond pissed off. Many fans love their offense, I swear they'd take a WRer or RB every year in the first round if they could. But if this Draft is 'flat' like I'm reading after pick 10-12, why not shift toward a more defensive-laden approach? The Vikings need DTs, LBs and a safety and corners. I get BPA and I'm almost always on board with that, but....

Preaching to the choir, Sticky. I want defense in rounds one AND two. But I do get the argument that there just isn't great value at 18 for that side of the ball, and a pure BPA philosophy might be the ticket in the 1st, with the rest of the draft focused more on needs. Problem is, all the Cs and RBs are in the 3rd round. So I can see a scenario where we take offense with three of our first four picks. Vikings can prevent that by trading down.

They need to religiously stick to BPA imo...

I understand the draft is a game of chance, but every once in a while? BPA nets an AP and a Moss.

Seems to me like Sadiq is coming in with a high ceiling and a high floor. I would be shocked as hell about it at 18, but I wouldnt need a new TV afterwards either.

My spider senses say he's going to be gone b4 18 and so will Theineman. I think they try to trade down for a DL. This may also age very badly by Thursday night too.
